Easter

  • Why do we celebrate Easter? Does every country celebrate this holiday?
  • Why are “bunnies” and “eggs” associated with Easter? And where did this begin?
  • How do you and your family celebrate Easter? Do you go to church, have a big dinner, or go on vacation?
  • Is Easter always on the same day every year? Why?
  • What would you do if you woke up and were the Easter Bunny? What extraordinary things would you do?
  • What is your favorite and least favorite Easter candy?
  • How did people live during the time that Jesus lived? Did they have easy or hard lives?
  • What do you think Jesus thinks to himself as he watches over us today? Would he be proud or disappointed?
  • Why do people give up something for Lent? Did you give up anything for Lent? If so, what and why?
  • How would you react if Jesus suddenly appeared before you? How would this make you feel, and what would you say?
  • There have been many different versions of what Jesus looked like. Describe how you think he looks and what he would wear. Remember what year it was and what part of the world he lived in.
  • What would happen to the Christian religion if Jesus’s resurrection had never happened?
